Newest Brow Tints are now Legal in California
For years, in California, we have been told that tintinting lashes and brows was against State Board Regulation. The reason was because the current tints worked like hair dyes using an oxidant, and these were not FDA approved for the eye area. As an esthetician, cosmetologist, or beauty professional you probably share the view point that that rule seemed riddiculous and its amost impossible to do our jobs correctly without being able to tint hair/skin when needed. California, to my knowledge was the only state to ban lash and brow tinting in the United States. Pros may or may not have hid these products in purses so that when inspectors came in we would not be fined.
Well this year, all that has changed! Reflectocils came out with Intense Browns - the first FDA approved tinting system, its non oxidative and 100% legal in California. The application is much different so please do watch the video below. I am happy to report these new tints are actually beautiful, deep intense color with better skin staining power. You can achieve many looks as you will see in the video attached.
We are now distributing these products and you can order HERE.
