Here at LAshX we receive a lot of questions from lash artists when their clients have retention issues. Artists want to know how to trouble shoot, and what to say to a client that may not be caring for the lashes properly at home. Adding Lash Lifts to your salon menu is as easy as 1-2-3

Lash lifts are becoming more and more popular and they are a great alternative for clients who want a look that is more natural than lash extensions. Maybe your guest has great lashes but they point down and aren't visible.  Lash Lifts give the natural lashes a natural curve up, like using a lash curler, without the daily work. They utilize a silicone shape as apposed to perms that are done on a rod. The result of this is a more natural curve, instead of a kinked curl. It is beautiful. A lash lift when done correctly should last about 3 months, where as perms only last about 1 month.  Lash Lifts are superior to perms for prelash extension appointments too, because the natural curve they give is much easier to apply lash extensions too than the tight curl of the lash perm.

Totally backwards from what I have been doing for the past 12 years. 

I have to admit, I was really scared to try this one. I had heard wispers about the Reverse Cat Eye but it just seemed so strange to me. 

We often get in the groove of making the lashes fan to the outer corners to lift the eye. But what happens when you reverse that look? Amazing things is what happened.

Nanos, Nebulizers, Humidifiers, and Therma-hygrometers Oh My!

After my last blog post The Truth About Lash Adhesives, and Our Health, I have been flooded with adhesive questions and it is clear to me there is still a lot of confusion out there. Specifically lash pros are confused about humidity, having it, not having it, and creating it. 

I wanted to get to the bottom of this humidity mystery, since I have accounts all over the world and none of the accounts using my products have had issues with humidity levels.  I couldn't understand why companies were selling all of these weird contraptions, especially since everything we know about cyanoacrylate is that it should not be shock cured.
